In 2005 specTra accompanied the takeover of the insolvent Rungis Express AG, Meckenheim, with a group of several co-investors
Rungis Express is the leading German wholesaler of gourmet foods with annual sales of € 40-45 million, supplying upscale hotels and restaurants in Germany and Austria.
In December 2006, specTra and the investors advised by specTra successfully sold their shareholdings to the majority shareholder Cool Chain Group AG.
Since April 2016, Rungis has been part of the Metro Group.
